"To Help People Drive Safely" is committed to helping students with special problems.  According to data from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), in 2005, 16,885 people were killed in alcohol-related crashes - an average of one almost every half-hour. These deaths nation wide constituted approximately 39 percent of the 43,443 total traffic fatalities.  The percentage in Tennessee is slightly lower at 37 percent.

If an individual is found to be impaired while driving, he or she will experience many criminal repercussions. These include fines, loss of driving privileges, incarceration, higher insurance rates and a criminal record.  The individual may be ordered to complete a 12 hour DUI school.

To Help People Drive Safely offers an Alcohol & Drug Safety DUI Class.  Classes are taught regularly in Jackson and are completed in one Saturday.  The class includes class discussions, videos and Power Point Presentations.  The content of the class is constructed to help prevent repeat offenses.

THPDS complies with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, ordinances, rules and regulations.  The facility is administered and operated in accordance with written policies and procedures.
